I have called IRS and used there app to check where my IL. refund is that was accepted according to Turbo Tax on JUly 17th. They keep sending me a message that don't have file of my information. What the heck is going on???????  You need to look into this with the IRS.  I need my refund as soon as possible.  I  never had this problem before with Tax Slayer. I should have kept them.    I want a response back from you within 2 days. It is obvious that this has happened with other people with your company who has not received their refund when I looked at all the comments.  Take care of this please. Loren Redding Grayslake, IL.

You are calling the IRS about your Illinois refund?  The IRS only deals with your federal refund, so you are calling the wrong taxing authority.  The state of IL deals with your IL tax return and IL refund.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

    STATE RETURN

Make sure your state return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

    To track your state refund:

And....Illinois is not known for quick payment of tax refunds.  You say your refund was just accepted on July 17--that has not even been three weeks.  You may need to develop some patience.  After all, you waited until mid-July to even file--so what's your hurry now?
