@ronicole35 I read somewhere it could take 3 days but I’m not sure if that’s correct information. I’m waiting as well after having updated mine Wednesday.
I'm not sure how long it takes. So does TurboTax have everyones bank information and they send it to IRS so why doesn't it work. Did u have to update on the IRS website or TurboTax
This is a good answer but I am reading and hearing that the IRS turned over stimulus money to people who owed to TurboTax and H&R Block online services to distribute. H&R Block apparently has been sending that money to folks as prepaid visa cards less "fees" and TurboTax is stating they gave the IRS bank info but won't confirm they received money. The IRS is telling news outlets they gave that money to TurboTax. Not which is true but if TurboTax got the money and they are holding it, the PR fall out will be deeeep
Same for me.
I DiD THAT AND IT STILL SAID THEY DIDNT HAVE MY INFO. I DID IT FOR 2019 AND 2018 NO COMMAS NO PERIODS SAME AS THE W-2 . IT STILL SAID THEY DONT HAVE MY INFO AND LOCKED ME OUT AGAIN FOR 24 HR.
No. Your 1040 is the tax paper. You cannot find your agi on ur w-2. Only the form when you file your taxes. If your still getting locked out then your not putting in the correct numbers
I filed my taxes with a w2 form back in February this yr. But I'm also been using both the trackers for refunds. One for my federal refund and one for the stimulus check. My federal refund keeps saying that they r still processing my refund. And the other saids it kicked me out for 24hrs

For some people that stimulus is the only hope they have of continuing to feed their children and/or keeping a roof over their heads.
Right now there are MILLIONS of people like me that were working and then abruptly told that their employer was being forced to close and haven't been able to work for over a month now.
Unemployment is backed up so no help there. We have $0 income coming in DUE TO NO FAULT OF OUR OWN! And finding a new job right now with everything closed and millions and millions of people suddenly out of work that is next to impossible.
The scariest part is that this is the new reality for millions of people who work in certain industries that are shut down. You think the unemployment rate is high right now? Watch the homeless rate go up because these people have no way to support themselves.
So if you are lucky enough to still be in good health, still working and able to pay your bills AND put food on the table maybe you should just be grateful! If you fall in the other category, than pray you don't end up one of the homeless people that you believe don't deserve the same help as everyone else. The decisions people are having to make right now are heartbreaking. Have some compassion for your fellow human beings.
@Lori S Your tax return document. If you have your 2019 return you can information from it or if you have not filed 2019. You can use your 2018 return information. The numbers must be entered in whole numbers.
Has anyone that used the WHERES MY PAYMENT tool, had an apt/set/unit # in their address?? It keeps kicking/locking me out... I can’t figure out which format needs to be used. The Turbo Tax Specialist I spoke with yesterday stated that I had no direct deposit info on my transmitted return because I paid my filing fee and received an advance from my return. I just want to update my info and get my payment!!!

Similar situation here. Funny how turbotax wants their money for filing but doesn't care that we haven't gotten our money; and they knew ahead of time that the TT debit cards would have a problem that they chose to ignore. All the while they were telling customers not to worry about the debit card. But hey they want their money!
U have to update deposit info to It's portal
I have tried. But seeing everyones post is like wow there is alot of people that didn't get thier money.
@Sdatak I have an apt number which I just used the # with my apt number and it accepted it.
