Tax Year Prior to 2020: If we filed with TurboTax, does the IRS have our bank information to have the stimulus direct deposited? Will we me the mailed recipients of the check?

Sign into TurboTax and just scroll down.you will see that,once downloaded just open it and few pages down you will see 1040 with direct deposit info the IRS is using to get stimulus out.

I filed my 2020 return via TurboTax and my direct deposit bank information is correctly written on my return.  However, I still received a paper check refund in the mail.  Likewise, I did not receive my stimulus check.  I entered my personal info on “Get My Payment” and it said it “needed more information”.  I entered my direct deposit info on the portal and hope to get it soon.  The bottom line is even though my info is absolutely correct on my tax return I still didn’t get my refund via direct deposit or Stimulus payment.

I advise all whom got the advance that went directly to the card an no other bank acct was involved to go change you direct deposit info in the irs website...i got the advance and when i checked my info the irs confirmed i was eligible but they needed more info as far as my dd.....later this evening i seen a article about ppl whom got thee advances were gonna experience a delay due to the way turbo tax, Jackson hewit and another company had done thing in a way that the third party bank they used sent our payments back to the irs and are currently waiting for you all to update your info instead of asking turbotax...they werent ready for this type of situation and currently are misguiding their customers.....i successfuly updated mine and my beatfriends this morning... I don't think I'll return to turbo tax and it hurts my feelings to say it.

Look sorry it's ugly but had to blank out my info but arrows point to account and routing number location and where it's marked checking.did you find it? It's 3rd or 4th page.you will see BOLD 1040 title

My account and routing number are correctly written in those lines with checking marked on my 2020 return

That's a good thing.i don't know why you haven't got deposit yet.when is last time you checked account for that info? I know they been sending out deposits in batch's. I really hope you get yours soon.thats messed up, your info is correct!!! No reason why you should not have it by now. Someone's not doing their job!

THE IRS WAS SUPPOSED TO USE THAT INFO TO SEND STIMULUS.did you try the get my payment on irs website? See if it has your deposit date?

Yes, you can use the account and routing number that come with the card. It went on my nieces TurboTax card yesterday that she got her tax refund on.

Mine too and I had fees taken out.im just trying to help out anyone I can to find info they need to get a answer instead of all the bs bs thats being thrown around here.i believe you and I honestly did get mine on TurboTax card.if anyone needs help with anything I will do my best to help you find what you need to get your stimulus payment.times are hard and I understand.no I'm not a tax professional but I been helping people and I know these sites and where honest answers are to questions.

In my case, I filed in both 2018 and 2019, but I owed  small amount each year.  Used a credit card to pay to get airline points.  But I also provided my checking account info.  Apparently if you don’t actually use said checking account for either the refund or to pay, IRS didn’t actually use the account so I get the “can’t determine eligibility” message. What a crock!

Hello I can't find anyone to help me with my problem......I checked my stimulus status on get my payment on the 15th is said mine was scheduled to be deposited into my account on the 15th I waited and waited but it never came and still hasn't come does anyone know why this happened or when I'll actually receive it
