Good luck...remember this is all new..it might take a few days to get everything to work right
That’s what I did turbo free and I got mine today
I think that they just left us high and dry. The IRS site said that I need to add bank account. Turbo card services is down down. I have been trying to get on site to get bank info. You can track with the Irs now and give bank info
Nope they did not deposit the stimulus and said they needed my bank information. So now ours is delayed. We are out of work and needed that.
Is anyone else getting this when they put in there dob ss and adress me my husband and my dad all 3 get this
Was it on your turb tax card?
Yep me too. If you had the fees taken out of your return it won't work which is why it got delayed.
Santa Barbara bank uses your social security number as a way to track you. So what happens in the event of an advance is they give the IRS an account number that includes your social security number for deposit. The IRS then deposits that advance to Santa Barbara bank and they give you any remaining difference.
Those of you with the last four digits as the account number will probably have to wait for Santa Barbara bank to refund the amount back to your card.
You just have to love Turbo Tax! 🤦♀️
Site and app still not working !?
They told me they didn't have enough information so I put my banking information in instead of the turbo tax one so hopefully I'll get it soon cause they didn't send it out
Had to put my DD info into the get my payment. The IRS did NOT have it... Thanks turbo tax
I finally talked to an IRS agent this morning. They did NOT have accurate information for my direct deposit. I used turbo tax and had my fees taken out of the refund. The IRS agent explained that Santa Barbara bank (whichever bank processes fees for your taxes which is what she actually said) but we know it’s SB, does have your account and routing number, but it’s not what is transmitted. Therefore, although 1040s have correct information, SB would have transmitted something else to the IRS. This is the reason that people are seeing incomplete banking info when they check the IRS website. If you didn’t get your deposit you might want to go change it on the IRS site or you will be mailed a check. Some, SOME transmissions SB would have received but it depends on the filing date (recent) and those should have gotten a dd already. If you had no fees taken out, your direct deposit information should be correct and deposit should be there if you made wave one. Gotta say a little disappointed I. Turbo tax bc they knew this per the IRS lady.
I know multiple people who used a prepaid debit card like NetSpend and they received the money to and also I was -3 on my turbo card because of my monthly fee and it was applied back to my turbo card for some reason so most likely they will deposit it to whichever back account they have the info for regardless of what type of card it is the same as they do taxes
So we will be waiting is the answer unless my prepaid turbo green dot card acct number just happens to be the last four digits of my social WHICH IS NOT THE CASE they do not have deposit info which turbotax would not give us a straight forward answer about. I'm a healthcare worker still working not receiving a stimulus check and not yet receiving any other monetary benefits or increases as some who were laid off. Our **bleep**ed up world needs a reset this is bull**bleep**. maybe the virus will he a blessing of sorts for us all to take a good look at the **bleep**hole we have created for our children to grow up in. PEOPLE TAKE THE POWER BACK AMD MAKE THIS WORLD A DECENT PLACE FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY
Im not sure what you are meaning. I use turbo tax every year and i have direct deposit onto the pre paid card they give you. And i got my stimulus check deposited on my card this morning. So people who use the turbo tax card for direct deposit, have no worries you will receive it. I know 1st hand because mine deposited onto my turbo tax card this morning
