If u got a turbo tax prepaid card is this where the stimulus 1200$ would get deposited into too?

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts.

We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

Only honest answer to give you is maybe ... there has been no official word one way or the other ... some say yes some say no.

If you have already filed a 2019 return there is nothing you can do until something happens on the IRS side… and they are ahead of schedule which is evidenced by the test deposits some saw on Friday. 

If you get the DD in the next 2 weeks then you are done. 

If you do not get the DD by the time the IRS finally opens the promised portal (now expected by 4/17) then you can check on the status and/or  update your information at that time.    https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments

What if you threw the TurboTax card away and no longer have usedo it

If the card has gone dormant or the account closed then the bank may refuse the deposit  and you will get a check.   You should be able to update DD info to another account if the deposit is refused. 

Or have another card issued if you wish ...   contact Turbo Prepaid Visa Card at 888-285-4169 or 888-288-1514 for assistance with changing the address, canceling the other card and request a new one.
