If my federal was accepted quickly but my state is still pending, why is it taking so long?

Please see the following TurboTax FAQ for some reasons on why it may be taking longer for your state taxes to be accepted while the federal has already been accepted.

When e-filing first opens in January and early February, it is not uncommon for a state return to remain in pending status for several days after your federal return is accepted. Check back in a few days, your return will eventually move from pending status.
