I was told by turbo tax customer services that the stimulus check won’t be direct deposited to your turbo tax card automatically. If you want to use turbo tax card for stimulus check, you have to provide the direct deposit information for that card when the irs opens up web portal for everyone to update their bank info..

We need to do nothing..that would be the turbo tax debit card. So im confused on needing to go to IRS portal to give them information that they should already have from my tax return.

An IRS-issued check will be mailed to taxpayers that received a check printed from their tax professional's office or a debit card issued through Santa Barbara TPG. The IRS portal says it is for non-filers only. if you have filed your taxes I don't know if it will let you change your information. You can try it and see what happens.

same thing applies to the turbotax portal
