So basically I’m not gone receive nothing?
That's not what we said. We just don't know if you will get a check in the mail or a direct deposit onto the TurboTax card.
But it’s not fair that we use the TurboTax cards because we filed with turbo tax but now in blue of how they gone send it. People has already received their money, but we left wondering what’s gone happen when some of us need it. I actually have two direct deposit one from 2018 and the one y’all gave me with the turbo card for 2019 and both are active. This taking way too long for y’all to find out information if y’all partner up with the irs for these situations!
In order to deliver money as quickly as possible to those who need it, the IRS is sending stimulus payments to eligible taxpayers who filed a tax return in either 2019 or 2018 and chose to receive their refund via direct deposit into their checking account. These taxpayers will automatically have their stimulus payment deposited into the account they received their refund. We have not yet received confirmation from the IRS on whether they will be putting stimulus payments on prepaid debit cards. However, we have noticed that the IRS has started depositing stimulus payments on some prepaid debit cards for taxpayers that chose to receive their refund through that method in tax year 2019 or 2018. If you received your refund on a prepaid debit card in tax year 2018 or 2019, here is what you need to know:
Now it’s an different answer, if the cards that TurboTax issued me is prepaid card why is the information to find out so hard I can not even get an true answer . The only thing I can think of now is that cards are fake or scamming people now.
So if I amended my tax return I’ll still get a stimulus check correct?
Please use the link below. The eligibility requirements are listed on the IRS site. They are in charge of making and sending the payments.
I amended mines too but they let me enter my DD information on the irs portal this morning
I just amended my tax return and sent it in recently so will I have to wait until it goes through first before being able to track it.
