I mailed my federal tax returns and haven’t received them. Can I add my bank information on my account and do direct deposit

You will not receive your tax return unless you mailed it to yourself. Your tax return is the form you sent to the IRS that shows your income and calculates your tax. The money that the IRS sends back to you is your refund.

If you already mailed your tax return there is no way to change it. Making changes in your TurboTax account will not change the tax return that you mailed. If you did not select direct deposit on the tax return you will get your refund as a check in the mail. Go to Where's My Refund? on the IRS web site to check the status of your refund.
