I filed my taxes saying that I didn't receive the last two stimulus payments. I have since realized they have been deposited in my ex-husband's account, what do I do now?

Also, he has not sent me any of the money as of today (May 13). I seriously don't know what to do to get my money and if I need to amend my return because the IRS did actually make the deposits, they just did it into the wrong account.

You do not need to amend your return. The IRS will adjust the amount automatically. Please see IRS Recovery Rebate Credit Q D2 What happens if I claim the incorrect amount? for additional information.

Please be aware, that the processing of your return most likely will take longer since the IRS is backlogged. You can track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site.
