I efiled my taxes on the 27th of January and it still says pending. How long does it take for the irs to recieve my taxes? I feel like its taking longer than normal.

I efiled mine on January 23rd. They were accepted on January 27th so it may be a bit backlogged. I'm sure it will be accepted soon. Keep checking daily.

The IRS began processing returns on the 27th, so they are working through the backlog of returns previously submitted.  We suggest checking back in a couple of days.  Source:  What does "Pending" mean?

I have seen a few people that have filed on the 27th and have been received the same day and it has been 3 days now and nothing 🤷‍♂️

During the month of January the IRS can take longer than the normal 24-48 hours to process tax returns. Please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/return-status/help/what-does-pending-mean/00/26331.

I just got an email from turbo and it was rejected so I fixed it and refiled to no fault of my own the guy who did my taxes put the wrong AGI

That happened with me also. Who did you file with last year?

I filed on my own with TAXACT and no issues, this year I went to a guy who uses TurboTax and found out that he did no better than if I were to do it myself and he put in the wrong AGI ugh NEVER AGAIN
