You can check the status of your refund at this IRS website.  You'll need to enter your Social Security Number, your Filing Status and the refund amount as shown on your tax return.

If you e-filed your tax return, you should have received emails from TurboTax that your return was filed, and that it was accepted by the IRS.

If you printed and mailed your tax return, you should know that the IRS on March 20, 2020 stopped processing paper tax returns, with much of its staff now working remotely because of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The IRS instructed taxpayers to not file a second tax return or write to the IRS to inquire about the status of your return. 

The IRS reported that paper returns will be processed once processing centers are able to reopen.
