I recently efiled my federal taxes with TurboTax PC Deluxe Windows. The printed efile instruction page says "To get your estimated refund date from TurboTax, log into My TurboTax at www.turbotax.com." Unfortunately, when I do log in, I can't find anything that says "My TurboTax" and if I try to check refund status, it says it can't do so because I didn't file yet. That seems to be TurboTax Online. How the *(&_^ do I check for the Desktop version?
I know how to use the IRS Where's My Refund page, and will do that, but why give me instructions that just don't work. This is the kind of thing that infuriates me about Intuit. They have a perfectly good desktop product, but somehow seem to assume everyone uses the Online version.

And - I'll add that I tried to post this in the proper section, but ended up here trying to figure out how to do so, since the main pages of the community didn't have a (visible?) link to ask a new question. I'd be happy if an admin would move this to the right section.
When you file using the desktop version, as long as you e-file the only way to check your refund status is to use the Where's My Refund website with the IRS.
After your return is accepted, Turbo Tax does not receive any updates as to when you will be receiving your refund.
