Did you already e-file? If you did NOT e-file you can go to the FILE section step 2 to enter/change how you want to receive your refund. If you want direct deposit you need the routing number and your own account number.
You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted. The IRS does not allow it.
As long as you haven't already filed your return you can still change your bank account information. To change your bank account information, follow these steps provided by TurboTax:

It is forcing me to check a box that states the bank info is correct and that is where I want my refund to go, but it is not correct and it won't let me change it.

You cannot change banking information. I had live help and she could not do it. I will never pay for expert help again. Not worth the money.

I finally figured it out, not with the help of live support. I will still not pay for live support again, I will take my chances on my own.
If you select the last option, to have it mailed to you etc., it’ll give you the option to change direct deposit information. Took some trial and error to figure out, not user friendly. Perhaps the company can add a line stating that on the direct deposit middle selection.
This is the same issue I am having. It has my old banking information from when I filed last year and won't let me update it with my new information. Everytime response from TurboTax is the same but I keep saying I have NOT filed yet. So frustrating. I will probably use H&R Block software to file next year because of this.
Hi
Can you please share how you were able to do it? It won't let me change my banking acct info from last year's information either.
I figured it out. If your bank info is already in the system from last year but isn't correct for this year select the "Other payment" options-> choose how you'd like to pay for your TurboTax processing fees (from federal refund or bank card-> select continue-> then it will take you to a screen to select if you want to do direct deposit (select yes)-> it will ask if your old bank info is correct (choose no)-> then you can enter the info.
