It has been almost 2 months and my refund status is still “processing.” We did earn a child credit

TurboTax does not receive any updates on your return after it is transmitted to the IRS and accepted.  To get the most accurate date for your refund, please continue to go to Where's My Refund then click "check my refund status".  Since it's been longer than 21 days since you e-filed and your return was accepted, you'll have to speak directly to IRS to find out more about the delay. Due to the COVID situation the live telephone is currently down at the IRS. Is there another way to contact them?
