Has anyone received their 2022-2023 Maryland refund yet?

I was wondering the same thing…

I filed January 22nd and mine still says not processed …

MD website said 5-7 days is average to be processed…not sure what is happening this year.

You can check the status of your current year Maryland state tax refund online, or by calling their automated line at (410) 260-7701 or 1-800-218-8160. Be sure you have a copy of your return on hand to verify your information. You can also e-mail them at taxhelp@marylandtaxes.gov to check on your refund. Remember to include your name, Social Security number, and refund amount in your e-mail request.

Mine says it was accepted on the 24th of January but I still don't see any updates at all on the state website.

Here are some instruction for tracking your Maryland refund:

Individual taxpayers can check the status of their refund by visiting the Comptroller of Maryland website, or by calling the automated refund inquiry hotline at 1-800-218-8160 (toll free) or 410-260-7701.

Wait at least 10 days from acceptance of your return before calling Taxpayer Services Division at 1-800-638-2937 (toll free) or 410-260-7980.

The state will ask you to enter the exact amount of your expected refund in dollars and cents. You can find this by logging in to TurboTax. If you're using the mobile app, you may need to scroll down to find your refund amount.

The refund date you'll see doesn't include the days your financial institution may take to process a direct deposit or the time a paper check may take to arrive in the mail. If you're concerned, contact the Comptroller of Maryland.

No, as of 2/16/24, still nothing....  Anyone know why it is taking so long?  The website says they should have been processed within days.  I even got my federal return back before my Maryland return -- first time EVER for that!

Maryland redid there entire tax area and just started working them on the 16th. mine finally says received and being processed. I hope it dosnt take forever to direct deposit now.
