e-filed rejected

Submitted my e-file for federal. Received rejected with the following: F1099-R-505-02 Form 1099-R, 'PayerEIN' was issued after the Tax Year in the Return header.

The steps I'd taken:

1) selected "Help me fix it"

2) next screen shows "if multiple  Forms 1099R are present...review the 'Description' field. There will be a number in brackets." There's no description or number to indicate which 1099-R is causing this reject. If only I knew which one, I would contact the payer for their EIN.

3) since i couldn't pass that stage, I reviewed each 1099R, everything is okay and e-filed again. Still getting those reject.

What can I do? Why is this happening?

Check the EIN entered in the program against the one on the form ... if you entered it incorrectly then fix it and resubmit the return.    But if it is the same then you will not be able to efile the return this year ... choose the  mail in option instead.
