Does the IRS notify you when theres issues with the refund before your estimated refunded date or do you just not receive your refund on time if something is wrong?

The estimated date that I'm scheduled to receive my DD is 03/05/21.  I have not heard from IRS so I am assuming everything is okay and it will come on time.  But it sounds like nothing is updated  correctly (IRS website, tax preparer websites and customer svc ctr) to keep us notified so whats the best way to track your refund?

TT is not notified of anything after the IRS accepts your return for processing.  But things are movings slowly this year.
