Does amending previous year tax bring 1040-x data into this year amended form if I have to do one.

Hi,

I have desktop TurboTax Deluxe software for both 2019 and 2020.  I have to amend 2019 taxes because I didn't include correct tax basis for RSU sales, I should get some returns from both federal and state. I already filed 2020 taxes, because my federal and state taxes will change for 2019, very likely I will have to file an amend to 2020 taxes. Doing 2109 amend is straight forward. My question is when I amend 2020 taxes will TurboTax pull in 2019 amend data or not?

No.  You have to start with the original 2020 return and manually amend it. Like you did for 2019.

You mean restart 2020 again as a new filing, find the delta from original 2020 filing and manually enter them in 2020 amended filing?
