Do state or federal tax e-file (direct deposit) refunds get posted to the bank account at midnight on the day it's supposed to be available?

I just found out someone else who uses the same credit union as me, and claimed the same credit as me, got theirs today. They filed after we did. Ugh.

I have regions bank and I still haven’t received mine... I went to where’s my refund and it doesn’t say sent but it was suppose to be deposited today the 26th what does this mean?????????????

my says the same. but my friend got hers this morning and her says not sent yet.

I'm in Idaho and we use Idaho Central Credit Union. Im not sure if you meant me or not.

I'm encountering the same thing. It says it will be sent no later than the 26th.

I just found out something interesting. If you have fees deducted straight from your refund then it is sent to this separate bank, and then to you. I just check on our and they have it and they say it was sent to us today. But we have yet to have received anything.

@Achaz56  there is another thread that mentions it. Its called TPG. They are the ones holding our funds.

yea i call TPG Santa Barbara who collects our fees from turbo tax. its pending deposit within 24 hours

@wendybaldw  I tried calling them a couple times but they had me on hold for 35 minutes the first time. The second time I requested a callback and I still haven't heard back. Stupid that TurboTax never mentioned this. Stupid that we aren't getting our refunds on the day promised. People really count on their refunds. Ugh.

i call one eight hundred seven seven nine seven two two eight. its automated but it gave me the details
