Direct Deposit Dates for People with Credits (EIC/ACTC)

This is a thread for those WITH credits who wish to start discussing or posting anticipated DDDs. Please do not respond with wikipedia copy and paste/irs.gov info about the PATH act or anything similar. We understand that they are held.

However, in previous years, I have found I usually get mine around the 20th of February. Not the beginning of March. Obviously, the IRS gives itself wiggle room, so tells people to expect refunds with credits at the beginning of March.

Please just state that you claimed a credit or credits and when your Where's my Refund status changed and the date of your projected DDD. Or, state if you're still waiting for a status change.

If we don't put useless info that anyone can find on Google on here, then people can easily find what they're looking for; which is if any filers with credits have a DDD yet. Thanks.

So, question. I received a DDD of 2/26. My refund is going onto the TT prepaid visa with fees and advance taken out. Is there a chance I’d receive the money before the 26th? I’ve never used a card before, but I did because of the advance I needed this year.

I filed my return on 02/01 it was marked received and accepted same day. 22 days later I find out thru much frustration that the IRS most likely will either hold my return hostage until March or audit me. Had I known this fact before I filed I would have filed a week later. So dont believe the estimated refund date it's a sham

If you claimed EIC and ACTC 2 22 20 is the first date it's will inform about refund staus. If no issues irs says March 2nd could be sooner or later everyone's tax situation is different. Spend wisely take care of needs first then splurge enjoy hope this helps

Anyone with a ddd of 2/26 and a prepaid card think we will see our refund sooner than the deposit date????

@austinrome I’m wondering the same thing! My DDD is 2/26 and it’s going onto the TT Turbo card. Hoping it hits early!

I checked but my income was different than the year before due to my husband passing away. I am going to wait another week to see if it gets deposited.

I filed Jan 27, turbo tax states it was accepted on the 29th and should have been deposited on the 19th but the IRS website says its processing and I have no dates through them. I claimed both EIC and ACTC (i think that's the acronym for the additional child tax credit).

The TurboTax dates provided are only estimates.

@riafit some people have their TT fees taken out of their refund. I also paid for mine up front, and am using the Green Dot prepaid card, never ever again. I was able to get through to an American woman and she told me that they won’t be coming early like advertised. I’ll stick to my regular bank next year, at least they tell me that my deposit is pending.

Is anyone getting their DDD from WMR, or is everyone getting from their transcript? Thanks in advance~

My Taxes were accepted 1/27... got the PATH message... then the being processed message... checked this Saturday and my status was updated on WMR... direct deposit this Wednesday!!!

Filed & accepted 2/1. Bars went away around 2/5. I have ACTC. My transcripts gave me info before my WMR tool updates. WMR finally updated Saturday with a DDD of 2/26. I’m still waiting for SBB&T to receive my refund & take their fees. I got swindled into getting TT’s Visa because they were offering the advance. Low & behold they then send me an email saying I wasn’t approved after all 🙄 Next year I’m going back to using my checking account.

As of first thing this morning SBB&T had my money & had taken out the fees. By 11:30 am my money was loaded on my TT Visa! Good luck everyone! I had a DDD of 2/26.
