Direct Deposit Dates for People with Credits (EIC/ACTC)

This is a thread for those WITH credits who wish to start discussing or posting anticipated DDDs. Please do not respond with wikipedia copy and paste/irs.gov info about the PATH act or anything similar. We understand that they are held.

However, in previous years, I have found I usually get mine around the 20th of February. Not the beginning of March. Obviously, the IRS gives itself wiggle room, so tells people to expect refunds with credits at the beginning of March.

Please just state that you claimed a credit or credits and when your Where's my Refund status changed and the date of your projected DDD. Or, state if you're still waiting for a status change.

If we don't put useless info that anyone can find on Google on here, then people can easily find what they're looking for; which is if any filers with credits have a DDD yet. Thanks.

Ok guys, this is the OP. I have some news. I just talked to someone I know who works for Jackson Hewitt. She says that the WMR site will be updated February 15th for many people who are receiving refunds with credits.

AND that's also the day that the IRS will begin disbursing funds. So, for some of us who have cards that promise your refund up to two days earlier (Serve Card, NetSpend, etc) you may receive your refund that day, this Saturday.

She said her info about the 15th is part of standard training for tax preparers at Jackson Hewitt.

I haven't received mine yet. Tomorrow is technically 21 days from the 15th. I'm hoping to see atleast an update by Monday

Claimed HOH, EIC & ACTC....Filed on the 15th, accepted on the 27th and have been at 1 bar with Tax topic 152 since. I have never received the Path message in the past but have always received my refund around the 22nd. Except last year when I got pulled for Review. Had to wait til April...smh

Same here but I have never gotten mine that early my wmr is showing the Same thing as yours and no PATH message here either but still no ddd I filed Jan 20th and was accepted the 27th and still nothing

Last year I didn't get my dd until 2/26, I'm hoping it'll be sooner but I'm preparing myself for the 28th or first week of March. I was accepted on 1/27. I have the PATH message and no movement since.

I am very hopeful that we will see the blanket update on Saturday. *fingers crossed*

I got my dd from Virginia today. My state return was accepted on 1/28.

I'm hoping we will all see something on Saturday well thats if they update on Saturday fingers crossed. I think everyone here is waiting to see some kind of movement on wmr.

I tried logging into sbbt to see what it says but their system must be down... a few days ago I could pull it up and it would say they have not received my refund deposit yet but now I can’t get it to pull up.. just says loading.. maybe we will all see something soon

Hi Everyone!!

My return was accepted 1/27.

I too have the Path message.

I checked my transcripts and they are just like last year.

It shows the refund for 2-21-20

Last year it obviously was off by one day.

Monday the 18th it updated last year with a deposit of the 2-22-19

Thankfully my bank shows pending deposits immediately, and I had access to it that Wednesday.

So I expect mine to update Monday the 17th with a deposit date of 2-21 which is what my transcript show.

I have had my refund show in my bank before WMR ever showed a deposit date every year.

My processing date is 2-17-2020. I know it’s a holiday Monday so the IRS will be closed but my process is the same from last year so I probably will get it by the the 25th. I checked my transcripts and account and I don’t have the 846 code yet.

@Taya2012. My TT is also saying 2/17 but thats the basic 21 days so I don't think that is right wheres my refund is only saying recieved and have topic 152 its been on recieved since 1/31 hopefully we know more tomorrow.

Also,

On the Sbtpg it's showing my refund amount being received by the IRS. Does that mean it's going to DD once path act is lifted?

@DadOf4 Do you mean it is showing that SBTPG is showing that they received the refund? If so, you could get it any time now. They will send it to your bank, probably today and if your bank doesnt hold it until the deposit date, you get it.

But if you mean that it's just showing your refund amount, the answer is no, you get it after SBTPG gets it and sends it to your bank and your bank makes it available.

What exactly is SBTPG I have read alot of comments but ive never heard of it can you only use it if you pay for turbo tax? Just curious.

Hello I ordered my transcripts. Says i have a ddd of 2/24/2020. It was the same last year but i always get my refunds sooner than the ddd.

Filed 2/1 fed and state (NY) was accepted that day. I checked the where’s my refund site today and got tax topic 151 no code? Check the the where’s my refund (NY) and it said my refund was being applied to a tax liability? I’ve about had it with this god **bleep** state! No letters from NY at all about this nothing! The irs message saying I may not receive all or part of refund until they receive requested info? Nothing from NY on their site stating what I owe? Has anyone experienced this? I did claim college credit but with no code couldn’t claim EIC as i am a returning student in nursing school! Anyone have any info on this?

2/15no bars with path message appearing

checked acct transcript all week—2/14 i could see it. Cycle 20200705 is in my transcript with date next to it saying 3/2/2020. I will let you know when I get a ddd. Hoping for the Thursday before 3/2

Filed on the 1/27 as if this morning have the path message but was able to order transcript. Transcript last year said march 4 and i got my deposit on 2/27. Transcript this year says march 7th so i think around 2/27 again this year.
