Direct deposit changed to paper check

Found out today I have a check being sent our when I chose direct deposit. The check should be send out 3/1. Wondering if there is anyone else out there in this situation

Same here! Can't get anyone on the phone to explain. Reading around the web I see the amount could have been wrong so they did paper which I don't get why we wouldn't be informed of that by now or amount is too high for ddd, really frustrating to not k ow what is going on!

My amount was 17k, and changed from DD to my check is being mailed March 1st I guess to Santa Barbara bank and I guess they will send me a check, stupid

I called turbo tax and irs and they said the check comes right to us and then we have to pay Santa Barbra bank I guess.

How long does it take to receive check? Mine says will be mailed out by March 1

Yes I read anything over 10k has to go by check. First I’ve ever heard of this.

I have been searching the web to see where they are mailed from...illl let you know if I have any luck.

@Terceka I was told they have several check processing places that it’s usualy done from the one closes to your home state and they said it typical only takes 3-5 days it’s come first class priority mail. I wish they would send it with tracking so we could at least follow it

I’m reading the same, no addresses but alll say we should receiving Saturday Monday or Tuesday latest..fingers crossed!

Yea I see a lot of people saying they got them the Monday after they were sent!! Let’s keep each other updated and post when you get yours

Filed on Feb 5th, accepted on 8th.
Bar disappear on 26th, back on 28th with approved msg.
Transcript 846 code March 5th, 150 code March 11th with cycle 20190803.
Requested DD but changed to paper check, all correct bank info, refund amount over $10k.
WMR says it will be mailed by March 5th.

I wish it would be sent out tmrw, and get it by 5th.. I know I'm dreaming~

Just checked my Usps informed delivery app and my check is coming today!

Did WMR status change on March 1st as it was mailed out? I hope mine will be sent tmrw and receive it within a couple days like you 😢
