Cannot e-file amended return for 2019

Hi,

IRS accepts e-filed amended returns for 2019:

https://www.irs.gov/faqs/electronic-filing-e-file/amended-returns/amended-returns

TurboTax claims to support it:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/amending/help/can-i-e-file-my-1040x-to-amend-my-return/00/26008

I used this to amend my 2019 return (1040-X):

https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/amend/

but it doesn't seem to support e-filing. Has anyone been able to e-file an amended return? Thank you!

TurboTax closed e-filing of 2019 tax returns after October 2020. The 2019 amended tax return can only be printed and mailed using TurboTax.

Thanks Donin! I guess the obvious question is why? Do you know if the deadline comes from the IRS, or is it a TT thing?
