Can a return be accepted on a date earlier than it was submitted?

My return was submitted on 2/12/21 but was accepted on 2/11/21. How is that possible?

It could have dated the return 2/2/21 due to it being sent later in the day, however the IRS accepted it on the day you sent it which would have been 2/11/21.
