I’m in the same group as you.
I filed 2/24/20 have a as of date 4/27/20 and a 846 refund issued code with date of 2/26/20. What does this mean? I was audited on head of house and dependents. They received documents 3/21/20. What's going on.?
same problem I’m experiencing. Called tax advocate they have not returned my phone call as of yet and it’s been a week
I believe they are referring to the photo below. On mine it was accepted 3.20.20. This is what shows on account transcript. This date didn’t appear till 3 weeks or so after acceptance by IRS. However. It has changed now 3 times and is always a future dated date. When it changes it changes by 7 days each time. Any thoughts?
Did you have to wait on letter to send info?
@Chante36 If the IRS needs any information, they will contact you.
why the heck would they need your insurance for !!???? ask yourself that, please...
They ask for health insurance information from taxpayers who received advance subsidies when they enrolled in a Marketplace health insurance policy. Those advance credits have to be reconciled on your tax return. So, not everyone has to provide insurance information, but those that had ACA Marketplace policies will receive a Form 1095-A. The IRS can't process your return without it. @SammySeawead2020
If you purchased health insurance through Healthcare.gov or your state's health insurance marketplace, you will receive a Form 1095-A whether or not you chose to receive advance premium discounts for the Premium Tax Credit. It should include info for everybody on your return who was enrolled in a Marketplace plan during the tax year.
Unlike the 1095-B and 1095-C, you need to enter this form. You won't be able to take the Premium Tax Credit without it.
<y as of date was 2/28/22 and now its 3/14/22 but no information has been updated. Everything is still 0 and N/A. Please help because i think i may have entered the wrong EIC and Child tax Credit information on my return. I think i plugged in the numbers wrong. I dont know what to do? Could this be the reason for the delay?
To clarify, today is 2/25/22.
I'm not sure what will happen in March.
When a Taxpayer files something incorrectly on their original tax return, they need to wait until the original return has processed or they get a letter rom the IRS.
If they also file an amended return before that time, the returns may cross in the IRS system and cause more harm.
If the correction will result in a tax bill, be sure to get that additional tax paid before "Tax Day" which this year is April 18th, 2022.
Thank you, my transcript has been updated and now my as of date is 03/28/22. The WMR app still says my return is being processed but taking longer than expected but thats all the information i have because as of now my Turbo Tax account still shows 2/18/22 as my approximate refund date. I know its approximate and a ball park figure but it hasnt been update either to a new approximate date. m not really sure what that means because you still didnt really clarify before. Thank you for you feedback though, i appreciate it.
Refunds usually take about 21 days after the IRS has accepted your e-filed return. Although, sometimes it can take longer. The IRS is taking more than 21 days (and up to 90 to 120 days) to issue refunds for tax returns with the Recovery Rebate Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit. Please see What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days? for more information.
If the IRS has accepted your e-filed return, you can continue to check the status of your refund by going directly to https://www.irs.gov/refunds.
Thank you, im aware of actually all of that information you provided. Thank you.
Mine says as of april 4th my cycle 20220905 what does that mean
