This is the time that the volume is likely the highest. It will take some time for acknowledgment because of it. Allow another day at least before there is any reason for concern, possibly two days.
@ tomraydell asked: "After 5 hours my return is still transmitting. What’s wrong with?"
Please clarify what that means. By "still transmitting" do you mean you clicked the orange button "Transmit My Returns Now", and it has been spinning for 5 hours, and the screen does not advance?? If so, that's quite abnormal. It should normally take only a few seconds or at most a few minutes to complete the transmission. There's no reason to let it spin for 5 hours. If that's your situation (if your transmission seems "stuck"), you can try again later, and in the meantime troubleshoot your modem, router, Internet connection, etc. If using a VPN, you may wish to try without the VPN. If using wireless, you may wish to try with a wired connection.
Or do you mean the transmission was successful, but the efile status still shows as "pending"? That can be normal until it is accepted or rejected, which can be up to 24-48 hours.
