Advance, how to get the money

I thought we were supposed to be able to use our advance immediately before getting the card. How, I do not have a card to log in with. This is a mess

Was your return accepted by the IRS?  Your funds are available within 48 hours AFTER your return is accepted.

I already got my approval email from turbo tax for my advance, it was loaded on my card but I thought we were able to access it online instantly without the card

How do I access my Refund Advance funds?

You will receive an email with instructions on how to create your online account. Once your online account is set up, you will receive temporary card information that you can use to spend online. You should receive a physical card in the mail within 5-10 business days after the IRS accepts your return.
