2020 Pathers EITC/ACTC Update here

Everywhere I have read said Wednesday dates are weekley and Friday dates are daily. 

However I get mine on Friday yet my transcript code ends in 05 indicating I am weekley. 

Path Act causes people to be weekly because it puts a c-freeze hold when it goes through their computer. 

It's an automatic  dis qualifier that tells the computer to hold the account for basically a second look at the return and that's pretty much what Path Act is all about...double checking everything until the 16th.

However weekly accounts can go through on daily dates. 

Daily accounts can't It's insane their process but it's all crap to being with. lol. 

I process payments and batch refunds for my customers all day long and we have a similar system

to verify all refunds before millions fly out the door.  If we have an account and they are trying to lie to get more credits it gets flagged and reviewed.

@caron1981 i was trying to create a irs account to view my transcript but i put in my debit card number and it said it was wrong so what should i do

@caron1981  This is so true! To go a bit further into being a ‘weekly’, before PATH Act, filing with EITC could potentially have your refund chosen for review due to indicators for fraud or a threat of fraud. Basically, filing EITC/ACTC is what determines whether you’re weekly or daily.

@Shottamike23  You have to use a credit card for verification when trying to create an account. To be honest, using a credit card never worked for me.

I’m able to order my return transcript via mail. Have always been able to. I’m 99.9% sure I’ll get a DDD of 2/21

So on 2/16 majority of early filer should see a DDD fingers crossed

@Kevmex81  So if you can order your return transcript over the phone that mean your DDD is close are what

Not necessarily, they could be blank. It did that to me last year. It send blank transcripts cause it was still processing.  After wmr updated to path message that's when transcripts should be filled in.

I have never had IRS transcripts online work for my. I have used all of my credit cards, student loan and 2 car loans and nothing. I just use the get by mail option.  No clue why it's never worked for. It always comes up with an error trying to verify with loan numbers.....smh

Also when the Path Act lifts on the 16. People will go back to their rightful place in line aka either being weekley or daily.  I will go back to being daily instead of being stuck on weekley updates.

ive been trying to figure this out have you gotten a solid answer because ifthat's the case we are approved and getting a return just waiting for them to be released to us

@caron1981  So daily it updated every day and weekly it updates only a specific date right,i taught 2/15 the tax topic 152 should be gone from the bottom of the page are that’s on 2/16

So on 2/15 irs should released all who file early right,release mean that they give you a DDD are what

i just order my return transcript for 2019 tax year they said it should arrive 5 to 10 days
