I am self employed and use the Schedule C to report my business income and taxes. I received a 1099-NEC on February 2, 2022, which is late as I understand they were supposed to be to the recipient by January 31.
(The envelope was postmarked on the 31st.) I filed my taxes on Feb. 1 and did include the income that is on the 1099-NEC. Do I need to file an amendment to my taxes?
Thank you,
Elizabeth

No, as long as you included the income from this 1099-NEC in your filed Schedule C, you do not need to file. 1099-NEC is used as an informational return and the exact details of it are not necessary on your return.
Thank you!
