So typically the irs website has an orange (blue) bar that ranges from accepted to sent.

mine however has a message just stating it’s being processed and a date will be posted when it’s done.

anyone else have this or a reason why it’s not the typical bar update ?

The blue bar is only an estimate based on the average timing of returns that have been processed. The most accurate way to track your refund is through the IRS refund tracking through Where's My Refund?.

That’s where I check it, and that’s where the bar typically is. But now it goes to a “your taxes are being processed, a date will be posted when available”

I filed 1/11

accepted 1/13

and currently still processing 2/6

This can mean you are still working on your return if you have not submitted it. I recommend you double check your e-file status by logging into the e-file tool.

If it was accepted, continue to check the IRS website for an update. Once they have a date, they will update the website. You will need your, social security number or ITIN, your filing status and your exact refund amount.

You can obtain this information from your Turbo Tax account. How do I check my e-file status? https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3319882
