I'm due a refund after filing. I need to amend my return to include 1099-s income (sale of rental property). How soon after amending will I know if I owe more money?

Please wait until you receive your refund before filing your amended return.

When you amend, TurboTax will let you if you owe any tax and how much. You will join a check to your amended return which has to be filed by mail.
