I was on F1 visa in 2019 and mistakenly filed my return as resident alien. As a result, I received $1200 and $600 in stimulus money. I amended my tax return for 2019 (packet reached to IRS in july 2020 but no response). I also gave back $1200 and they deducted it from my account.
Now, I changed status from F1 to H1B in oct 2020 and received the new $600 money. Should I return that as well? What should I file my 2020 return as and if you'd recommend me to take any actions.
