You’re missing the point.

if the treasury released my funds, and TT took out their funds yet I still don’t have my money- where is it?? And why is it sitting in some financial institution making interest off my money.

and NO WMR IS NOT REAL TIME.

every year I get my refund deposited and WMR updates approx a week later.

Now they want to cancel my 5 days early last minute. It says I should get it est on to the 21st. Haven’t got it. My dd from the day it’s is the 26th. They did this 5 day early crap just to get customers and then they pull this crap. I’m soooooo fu****** done with this crap service Tt provides. Lying remedial punks. I hope they get sued so bad this year! Never never again will I use this service and I’ll make sure to steer anyone I know away from ever using this site of thieves

first of all you need to understand TT does not collect funds in any way and they have no jurisdiction over your money at all. they are not  a financial institution they are only a tax software co. that has access to the irs data like we do and they provide services for you using their software to file your taxes.  Whatever day they IRS says they are going to DD your money that is the day it happens unless your Bank issues it to you as soon as they see your DD from the IRS approaching. the banks can see when you will get DD before they happen. so either you get your DD on the date they say or earlier depending on your bank. Now id you paid fees from your refund for TT. They go through SBBT Santa Barbara bank and trust they do the money transactions for TT they will deposit your money the same exact day as your WMR states into your chosen bank account less the fees you agreed to be taken out of your refund. they have a website you can check there by entering your information. they also know when your going to get your refund but they do your transactions within the hour of receiving your DD from the IRS.

Doesn’t help when the decline the 5 days last minute now your made to wait even longer. They knew that they were doing to attract customers and didn’t live up to their promises and that’s fraud and that’s wrong! I hope you guys get sued so bad because this is bull crap!!

Firstly, who said WMR updates in real time? I sure didn’t say that. Read with a calm, logical mind. Not your emotions. 

Secondly, you misunderstand how funds transfers work. If the IRS says that the refund will be issued on 02/26, that’s when they issue the funds. When TT says 5 days early, they front you the money, less $25 and filing/other fees laid out in the agreement, then keep the money from the IRS when it comes on the 26th. Thats why they wait until the IRS has an issue date, because it’s a done deal at that point. They don’t get the money from the IRS and just hold it in their account and make you wait for no reason, especially if they’re contractually obligated to give it to you if they have it.

Why you so big on taking up for turbo tax? turbo tax told me their bank is holding my funds. I am a man who has many many obligations to tend to, no time to waste, we are sick of being treated like nothing. No matter what you do, wrong or right it seems the system is against you. So don't tell us not to get emotional.

I am so confused.  Wmr is updated to say 2/24 but my tax refund shows approved not sent.  Does the 5 day early that we pay for mean we will get it 5 days before 2/24 or does it mean 5 days before 3/2?

Firstly, I’m not taking up for anybody. I’m speaking facts. I’m telling you that you’re misunderstand the facts of how a thing works. If you want to assign meaning to that in some way, that’s your prerogative. 

But please, continue to ignore the things I’m saying that make sense. Continued to let your emotions blind you from understanding the facts of what’s happening and when you’ll get your money. That’s your choice.

so what about people who have not received no emails from turbo tax since filing and have an alert message saying that their refund was not able to he deposited so they sent out a check. Wouldn’t have even known anything if we didn’t check the app.

I also got the email from turbo tax yesterday.  My tax transcript has an 846 of 2/24 but it is within the 5 days and I have not received a deposit.  Does the 5 days begin on 2/24 or should I have it 5 days before 2/24?

Mine says that it's been approved and should receive my refund by the 26th if I don't see it by the 3rd to call the IRS, but I opted for the 5 days early and haven't received it yet, I'm wondering if anyone has ever used credit karma before when it comes to their refund being deposited into it, this is my 1st time using credit karma and my son filed when I did and he got his last night. 

I'm hoping their isn't going to be any issues with me trying to get my refund

That's not true because I haven't got 1 message or email about the status of my refund I've only gotten it from where my refund, turbo tax or credit karma haven't updated me or my acct or still says accepted not approved

I'm looking into civil suit now.  I needed my funds more than 3rd party bank needed to borrow it from me without my consent.
