The 5 day early date is based on the date given to you on the IRS website.

The 5 day early fee is deducted from your refund.  If it is not provided 5 days early it will not be deducted.

• The receipt of your refund 5 Days Early is subject to IRS submitting refund information to us at least 5 days before the refund settlement date.
• IRS does not always provide refund settlement information 5 days early.
• You will not be eligible to receive your refund 5 Days Early if

1. you take a Refund Advance loan,
2. IRS delays payment of your refund, or
3. your bank’s policies do not allow for same-day payment processing.

• The 5 Days Early fee will be deducted directly from your refund prior to being deposited to your bank account.
• If your refund cannot be delivered 5 Days Early, you will not be charged the 5 Days Early fee. 5 Days Early program may change or be discontinued at any time.

If your federal refund is deposited into your selected bank account less than 5 days before the IRS refund settlement date (the date it would have arrived if sent from the IRS directly), then you will not pay the 5 Days Early fee. See Terms of Service for more details.

I have chime and it says it should of been deposited yesterday on turbo, tax my date is 2/24 for my ddd when should I receive my refund

My DDD is 2/24 so obviously im not getting it early if i still have $5 in my account lol. My point was, i usually have no problem with turbo tax (been filing here since 2020) & like last year i got my refund 6 days before my ddd. This year, i ddnt get a loan, but i did pay my fees out of my refund which is also weird bc its usually free but this year & last year  i had to pay.  I see everyone getting their refunds on Facebook through different tax services but everybody that used TT is confused asking questions..

Lol just bcuz you didn't get it for whatever reason doesn't mean that I am lying.... wow! Ignorant much?... take it for what it is! The irs just started releasing them,  give it some time... they are coming! Tried to give you some hope and let you know there is light at the end of the tunnel and u wanna come after me for that then screw you lol.  Believe whatever the eff you want bcuz really I don't give 2 cares what you believe,  I got mine and so did many other people according to the TRUTH I put out there.  You DO get the 5 days earlier as long as you're eligible and as long as irs actuality releases the refund info on time to turbo tax.  Everyone thinks turbo tax is scamming but they literally do not even charge you unless you do get it 5 days sooner.  They do us a favor if giving us an opportunity to receive 5 days sooner,  then people like you hate and talk ishhh and are so ungrateful 😒.  Maybe you should ask yourself why they didn't receive the info they needed in time.  Anyways,  I don't got time for someone who puts others down bcuz they r pissed and hating,  I got $ to go spend and bills to go pay ✌️

Yeah mine did and I received it within an hour.  They didn't update to refund or shutting till the next day after I received my deposit. Wmr still showed processing not even approved when my DD hit

Turbo tax are a bunch of criminals.  They got over on me this year

Yes I agree. I'm using chime next year. At least they are free. This is the first time in 8 years I had to pay to file. It cost me $128 to file this year

If you received the message that they couldn't expedite your funds, then you will receive it on the DDD no earlier. TT mentioned this when I called.

I have Cash App. I called customer support (TT), and they told me that they could see the deposit, but I haven't received anything. My DDD is 2/24. Why is the money being held?
