Paper filing.

I know you can't exactly tell me but if i go ahead and send in paper filing of my taxes before feb 12th, will they hold it until the 12th? and if so, how long does it typically take for it to show up on the IRS im not worried about the money, but i will need a tax return transcript from it. how long until i get that?

It could take months.   The IRS is backlogged and there are people still waiting for mail-filed returns to be processed from ages ago.   Why do you not want to e-file?   Mailing it in now is unlikely to get you fast results--and will preclude you from changing your mind later when you decide you should have e-filed.
