I e-filed my Federal INCOME TAXES 2 weeks ago.

How can I e-file my State Income Taxes ONLY ?

This will allow you to file just your State return by following the steps through your State interview.

To E-file just State:

- Click the State Taxes tab.

- Click on the Print & File tab.

- Choose File a Return.

- On the screen Select Returns You’re Ready to E-file.

• Under Federal check Do Not E-file my Federal Return now, I’ll do it later. (very important that you check this option otherwise TurboTax will think you are trying to resubmit your federal return and that is not allowed)
• Under State check E-file my State Return now.

NOTE: Before you e-file your state return separate from your federal return please make sure your Federal Tax Return is completely finished. This is because your Federal Tax Return transfers information into your State Tax Return.

Open the turbo tax application and click on FILE. Then go to File A Return. Then click Continue at the bottom of the paragraph and it will bring you to the E-file for your state.
