On NYS Refund status website

on the NYS tax refund status line it says your return has been received but may require additional informations etc.... what does this mean?

TurboTax will not have that information. When a tax agency requires more information they usually send you a letter in the mail informing you of what they need. You will need to contact the  New York State Department of Taxation and Finance and speak with someone if you have not received a letter or notice from the state.
