Offset question

i called the phone number [phone number removed] to check to see if i had any offsets pending it said i did not, and i filed yesterday. If for example you owe unemployment money, would there be an offset pending prior to filing? Because i checked it said there were no offsets pending under my ss number.

if they said there were none there were none when you called. tomorrow or bu the time any refund due you gets processed could be a different story
