NYS changed from May need further review to processing

My NYS refund details changed from May need further Review to being processed no further information.. does that mean it didn’t go into review since it never said under review? Or is there still a possibility it going to go under review?

Unfortunately, we do not receive information from the State or IRS, after the returns are accepted. I would check the status on your state website, to see what the status is currently, if it is not showing under review, you could try contacting NY State Department and they will be able to give you that information.
