I amended my tax return because I forgot about a job I had and the website is not showing the new numbers that it showed when amending the form. Not sure if I am going to receive the money or not.

An amended return is a form 1040X that must be printed and mailed to the IRS. If you didn't print and mail it, it has not been sent to the IRS. Amended returns take 16 weeks to process and are tracked on a different IRS web site.
