None of my past refund statuses have ever changed from Accepted to Approved even after receiving the funds? Why? And how does that help me gauge when I'll get it?

TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS once they have accepted your return. You can track your refund with the IRS Where’s My Refund link https://www.irs.gov/refunds/.
