I made a mistake on my bank account number. Do I amend my return?

I just want to know can I file an amended return and change my bank account number???

No, you cannot amend a return for a wrong bank account number.  You will automatically be switched to receiving a check once your deposit is returned by the bank.

What if I entered the wrong bank account for direct deposit?
