I had to mail my return in this year, it's been 2 weeks and yesterday it showed received on wmr. How long does it take to be approved?

I had to mail my federal return this year. I put tracking on it so i know it got to the IRS on Feb 9th 2017. Yesterday exactly 2 weeks after my taxes got to the irs i checked wmr and it says received. How long will it take to be approved? Will it be longer because I had to mail my return this year instead of efile? I'm getting it direct deposit so i at least don't have to wait on a check!

Spoke to someone today and they said there was a hold on my refund but after verifying some information she was able to remove the hold and told me that I will receive my refund in 4 to 6 weeks praying that it don't take that long

@tnt2713 any news yet for the ones that didn't receive their ip pin this year but had to.mail in return

@Cheree_Coplin I got a TA he submitted everything last week so they can go ahead and process my return because they were just holding mine because of no ip pin I had to fax him a copy of my return

Ok guys woke up to smn a lil diff I had to squint n rub my eyes bcuz it changed a lil thght I put n wrong info..... since 3/10 it has said your return is still being processed a date will b provided etc WELL this am it says we have received your tax return and it is being processed...... N that's it it said this before for 2 days before bars disappeared...... so I'm wondering if this is good? Ne experiences or knowledge on this small change n wording lol
