I won't go into unnecessary details, but I need to file an amendment for my 2020 tax return. The web app says to download a program, and I did that. Filled out all the relevant information and got to the end, then it tells me "If you'd like to file electronically, click on the 'File' tab above to proceed."
Only thing is, there's no 'File' tab beyond the very top-left one for loading or saving tax files, and has no option for actually filing my amendment.
Any help?

Unfortunately, TurboTax allows e-filing for Form 1040-X (amended return) for the current year. So you'll need to print, sign and mail your 2020 1040-X. Be sure to mail it using Certified Mail or another method that requires signature on receipt.
How do I amend my 2020 return?
Weird, I spoke to someone at Turbotax and they explicitly said I was able to e-file my 2020 amendment. Another sterling example of this company being as unhelpful as possible while trying to milk me for as much money as they can, I guess.
I'm sorry Support gave you inaccurate information. I'm not a TT employee; I'm a volunteer in the Community.
I know it's a pain to have to mail a return. Prior to last year (I think), all amended returns had to be mailed. Hopefully, TurboTax will be able to assimilate more years' 1040-X into the e-file system.
