No 3rd Stimulus and Recovery Rebate 2021

In 2020 I had to file an Amended Return to correct filing status due to issues with the questions in the TT software.  I never received the 2020 3rd Stimulus. My dependent as head of household did not receive it either. I checked the Account Transcripts and confirmed 0.00. When I enter my 2021 my AGI is higher than 2020 return. The 3rd Stimulus should have been based on the 2020 return, not the 2021.   So, I am eligible but my dependent never received their $ 1400.    I am not sure if I should submit my return given it appears that something appears to be wrong with the Turbo Tax Software since it is basing the 3rd stimulus on 2021 return when it should be based on the 2020 AGI as per the American Recovery Rebate.   If you base it on the 2021, I will get 1/2 of what I was entitled to in 2020. This does not seem to be correct???

No 3rd Stimulus and Recovery Rebate 2021

The 3rd stimulus payment IS based on the 2021 AGI.  The stimulus payments received in 2021 were an advance credit based on the 2020 AGI since that is all that the IRS had to go one to get the payments out to taxpayers.
