You cannot efile a tax return if the social security number has been used. You will have to print out on paper and mail in your return. https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899417-error-your-transmission-didn-t-go-through-due-to-duplicate...

You may be victim of identity theft or there might have been an error in filing. Could someone else have claimed you on their return as a dependent? That would be a duplicate.
