Need Help Understanding Tax Liability After Amending Return

I received a corrected 1098 from my mortgage lender today showing that I paid more interest than the original 1098 showed. After filing my original return it showed I had a balance due for federal and a refund due from my state. I have already received the refund from the state. Now my federal return is showing $0 and my state refund is showing an additional amount to be refunded.

It looks like the forms I had to print still show I have to pay the original amount shown in turbotax but that amount is no longer showing in the program. My assumption at this point is that my tax liability has not changed and I still need to pay but that big green 0 is throwing me off. So I guess my question is - is turbo tax just showing me the difference between my original return and my amended return now or are the refund amounts at the top of the screen my total tax liability (or lack thereof in this case)?

Need Help Understanding Tax Liability After Amending Return

Yes, TurboTax is showing you only the results of the amended return - 1040X.    Pay the original amount by the deadline, but you don't need to file the 1040X to the IRS, since there was no change.    File the state amendment and they will issue you the additional refund.
