need help amending my 2020 tax return

hello this is my first time filing through e-file turbo tax  and I put in some wrong informations I put that I cant be claimed by anyone but I'm actually getting claimed by my parents so I Amended and fixed it and put in to correct information but now its saying I own 1,800 when I haven't received any kind of money? why do I own money? my first tax return was 1,800 because I put I wasn't getting claimed by anymore but now that I fixed I have to pay 1800 ?

do I have to wait for the money I was suppose to receive and send it back ???? and do I have to file the 1040-x and if so where can I get help on that

Wait to amend until you get the first refund.  And see if you get the 1800.  1,800 is for the first 2 Stimulus payments.  You should not have claimed it.  You will probably have to pay it back.

Did your parents return reject?  Tell them they have to mail their return this year.  They don't have to wait for you to amend.

I already amend and do I have to pay it back out of pocket even thought I haven't received anything. my parents have yet to file
