IRS will use what is on the W-2 that was sent from the employer to you and the IRS.

If this is wrong, you need to go to the Employer that issued it, and show them what is wrong, and ask them to issue you a corrected one, which would be a W-2C.

Then after the original return is processed, you would file an Amended return.
